Hey again.
It tends to get crowded in the newsletter inbox in late December, with recaps of the previous year, best-of lists, and people rushing to finish a New Year’s Resolution’s worth of email.
Put this aside for a while and come back to it, if you’re doing triage. (Snoozz it, maybe; I use that extension on Chrome for similar cases.) Unlike a lot of the above, I think these links should keep.
Content-wise, that is; whenever I go through my URL notes it seems like the link rot phenomenon is getting worse. On the one hand, it’s a terrible disappointment that these pages, each of which was at least intriguing enough to merit saving its location, have now been rendered inaccessible barring an annoying amount of digging.
If a link holds up, though, especially if you’re reading this after snoozing the tab for a few months, take that as a sign. You wouldn’t want to read an unlucky blog post anyway, would you?

No endorsements in the above, other than that I liked something about it and think it’s more likely than most comparable things in its category to be worth your time.
(How did it get there? It was funny, plausible, or thought-provoking, or just plain cool… you fill in which is which, mail in your scorecard, and if you’re right, I’ll send it back, signed, with an ultraviolet pen that reveals the underlying rants.)
Not an exhaustive list, either; I may highlight some others again in the near future— but for now, from me:
Merry Christmas.
thank you very much!
